Hawaiian Airlines is slowly increasing flight to prepare for Pre-Travel Testing Program

On late September, Hawaii Airlines announced to bring more flight routes between Mainland and Hawaii. Providing more travel options for guests eligible to bypass the state’s quarantine requirements with a pre-travel negative COVID-19 test starting October 15.

The airline will resume nonstop service between Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) and McCarran International Airport (LAS) in Las Vegas on October 2. Additional nonstop routes from HNL to Oakland (OAK), Phoenix (PHX), and San Jose (SJC) will follow on November 1.

By November 18, Hawaiian Airlines will serve 10 cities across the U.S. West Coast, including direct flights from Maui to Los Angeles, Oakland, Portland, Seattle, San Jose, and Sacramento. Additionally, the airline will increase flight frequencies on existing nonstop routes from HNL to six West Coast cities: Los Angeles, Portland, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, and Seattle.
